The Handover Ceremony of New and Outgoing Presidents of Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF)

The handover ceremony of the new and outgoing president of Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “ TAF”), respectively, was held in the conference room on the 7th floor of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs on the morning of the September 23rd , 2020. The directors, supervisors and senior consultants were present to supervise and observe the ceremony.

The new president, Ching Chang Lien, currently the Director General of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs, received a PhD in the Department of Forestry & Resources Conservation, National Taiwan University. He was the former Deputy Director General and Secretary General of the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs and has accumulated comprehensive experiences in the Bureau. Lien is very familiar with the accreditation business of TAF and will continue to combine the power of TAF, competent authority, industries and academia to lead the team of TAF to bring in new prospects through strengthening the trust of accreditation, expanding the benefits of accreditation and aggressively promoting the business of accreditation.
